The seventh edition of the BUFF® Epic Trail will host the Skyrunning World Championships, bringing together the best runners on the planet.

A unique and special date, and an event that will bring the skyrunning world together: the BUFF® Epic Trail 2020 will be the stage for the big event of the year. Both professionals and amateurs will be able to experience incredible races full of excitement, which they’ll never forget.

The array of races and routes is so varied that every mountain enthusiast will find the race for them:

• 68 km and 5,000 m+ – Joan Rojas Memorial – Sky Ultra World Championships
• 42 km and 2,900 m+ – Sky World Championships
• Vertical Kilometre – KV World Championships
• 26 km and 1,800 m+
• 12 km and 480 m+

There are 27 medals at stake, which will be awarded individually and for official teams, as well as a combined title for the best overall results from the Vertical and Sky races.

The races will be held as part of the BUFF® Mountain Festival, the most important sports and mountain festival in southern Europe. The event’s location in the exceptional Vall de Boí and the extensive sports, cultural, children’s and family programme make this a perfect event for all types of visitors, hence the large number of people who came to enjoy the last edition, that is over 17,000 mountain enthusiasts.
