The race, with departure and arrival in Barruera, closes the fourth edition of the BUFF® EPIC TRAIL 2017. At 7 am, about 400 runners have taken the start and have faced for 21km rocky paths and high mountain areas up to 2,600m of elevation gain and 1,879m of positive slope.

With just 13 seconds left, the second position has been for Jo Forseth (02:19:06), who has been leading the race until he was last surprised by Ismail. The podium is completed by Juan Javier Jiménez, who has finished this half marathon in 02:19:29.
In women’s category it’s necessary to highlight the race of Núria Picas from BUFF® Pro Team (02:55:51).
