BUFF® Epic Trail – BUFF® Mountain Festival will celebrate its 2020 edition, resized and adapted to the current context, from September 4 to 6
The Vall de Boí SkyRunning World Championship, initially scheduled for last weekend and postponed due to COVID-19, confirms its definitive date for next year.
It will be held from July 8 to 11, 2021, with an epicenter in the village of Barruera and within the framework of BUFF® Epic Trail SkyRunning World Championships Vall de Boí. It will have Ultra, SkyRace and Vertical Kilometer modalities, in addition to all the nature, sports and family leisure activities included in the BUFF® Mountain Festival, such as nordic walking, yoga, music, cinema, children’s activities, BTT, orientation and many others.
Countdown to the 2020 edition
Earlier this summer, BUFF® Epic Trail will celebrate its 2020 edition from September 4 to 6, with the modalities SkyRace 42 Km, SkyRace 26 Km and also the 12 Km race.
It will be a probably atypical but very special edition, with all the health prevention protocols established by the federations and the corresponding authorities and with a very limited number of places. It will also have a resized version of the BUFF® Mountain Festival, including only those activities for all audiences in which maximum security can be guaranteed.
The organization is currently working to celebrate a good 2020 edition, with all the added difficulties but with the maximum guarantees for everyone. An edition that represents the return of the SkyRunning competitions in this new context that allows runners to meet up with the mountains and nature and that contributes to the economic revival of the Vall de Boí.
And, in parallel, it is also working with the maximum illusion of being able to recover the event in all its magnitude in 2021, in what should be the great world festival of SkyRunning.
